Oleic acid content of 70 to 78% positions Marula oil alongside high-oleic sunflower and avocado oil — but with a significantly richer natural antioxidant profile (vitamin E, vitamin C) and a skin absorption rate that premium formulators consistently report as superior in consumer perception testing.
The oil is cold-pressed from the kernels of the Marula fruit, which grows across sub-Saharan Africa with the highest quality commercial volumes sourced in South Africa.
